BRASSTOWN RINGERS

Brasstown Ringers are very excited to be invited to "Taste of Scotland" and share our spring program "Ringing in the Highlands".  Our afternoon concert will just be a "taste" of the things to come in the 6:30 evening concert at First United Methodist Church.  Our Celtic pieces for the afternoon include "Dorian Dance", "Mediation on a Welsh Melody", "There Shall Be Dancing", and "Amazing Grace".  "Amazing Grace" uses a new handbell technique called singing bells.  For the evening concert, we will unveil a piece that was composed for our group in honor of this festival called "Highland Anthem".   The Brasstown Ringers will be joined again by  William Wattenbargar, saxophonist, on the spiritual “I’m Just a Poor Wayfaring Stranger”.  Flautist Shea Pack will join the group on the uplifting tune of “Awake My Heart”.
